03 Apr My Final Newmarket Racing Centre Art Class
Mixed feelings at the Art Class this week. With my move to Fakenham now imminent, this was the last of the Racing Centre Art Classes, so some sad moments .The class brought some Prosecco, and Theresa made a cake to wish me well for the future.
Whilst I am exited with the prospect of the move, and the new opportunities it will present, I was also sad to be leaving behind my class, all of whom have improved immeasurably over the last couple of years, since we began. Some of this week’s works are shown here. We have :”Across the Meadows” by Derek Baldwin, “Steam” by Phil Starmer, and “Kettles Yard” by Rob Pilsworth.
The class will continue to meet at the same time and place in the interim, to see if a new tutor can be found. In the meantime, I wish them all the best for the future.
